Jackson 10 months

It's so hard to believe that Jackson is already 10 months old!  He's just shy of 23lbs and about 30inches long, and is solidly wearing 18 month size clothes.  Some things he has to wear 24 month size!  He's scooting around very quickly but still not crawling yet.  He does wave hi and bye now, and got his third tooth (upper front right) yesterday and should get his fourth tomorrow if we're lucky.  He's such a sweet little man and Grace just adores him still.

DISNEYLAND!

We were able to visit Disneyland while we were in San Diego and the kids had a blast! Grace was able to "meet" Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, and Mickey Mouse. Steve made us ride the "It's a Small World" ride, for which I wanted to hit him and lock myself into a rubber room. Overall it was a good day, though.
Jackson was rather smitten with Ariel, and Grace was very excited to meet her. Steve thought it would be cute to make a "hey baby" face...

Grace had been begging us for three days to get her face painted, so we finally gave in and let her get it done at Disney...she loved it!

Ahh, the many varieties of Mickey ears they have for sale these days! The kids both got some ears and had their names embroidered on the back of them...

Trip to San Diego, Balboa Park with Aunt Anne

We were able to meet up with Aunt Anne at Balboa park while we were visiting San Diego. She had never met Steve or the kids, so it was fantastic to catch up and see her! She was a great tour guide for the park as well, as she is a docent for the Japanese Friendship Garden at Balboa park and knows her way around the park very well!

Trip to San Diego, Day 1

Our first day in San Diego was spent with Heather out at Pacific Beach! She and Grace are buddies, as Grace is very interested in Heather being in the Air Force and "going to fight bad guys." Grace absolutely loves the beach and I love what the salty air does to her curly hair!
Grace is turning into quite the diva! She was loving being in her new "swimming soup" and shorts, even though it wasn't all that warm.
