Jackson Jumperoo!

Quick Jackson post here...he's just getting so big and looking like a little man, and LOVES his jumperoo! He's over 21lbs now and just huge. He's outgrown his 6-12 month size clothes and still not crawling...too much mass to move! Always a happy baby, this one.

Ballerina Grace

Grace has been taking ballet classes with her buddy Trinity Jordan since January. Last Saturday was "parents visit" day when we all got to be in the room to view the class and find out what the recital costumes look like. The girls were all very silly since it was the first time the parents were allowed in the room during class, but Grace did very well considering! She's excited for recital but we're thinking she's more of a gymnast than a ballerina. (Need proof? Look at her compared to the rest of the girls!)
The only reason Grace is paying attention here is because she's in front!

Jackson's Owie

Jackson apparently got his momma's sensitive skin. He rocks his head when he is falling asleep and much to my horror yesterday he was in his jumperoo and I looked over to see his entire onsie covered in blood! He had rubbed his poor little chin completely raw. We took him to the doctor and they want us to keep it covered to avoid a secondary infection. Oh the joys of raising children! Poor little man! Oh, and as an update, at 7 months he is 19lbs, 10oz and 28.5" long. He's getting so big!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a few pics of the kids taken for Valentine's day the same time we had Jackson's 6 month pictures taken. Grace loved her new hat!

Jackson 6 month pics

These are being posted about a month late, but they are the pics we had done of Jackson at 6 months old. He's rolling over like a pro now and starting sitting up on his own on Superbowl Sunday! Such a chunky boy! He's very happy and loves to play with Grace!

RIP Bob

Today is a sad day for Grace. Her Betta fish, Bob II, died this afternoon at the ripe old age of 2 1/2. She got him for her 2nd birthday and he has been one of the most hearty fish (from WalMart) we had ever seen. He began swimming sideways yesterday, and was still okay this morning, but by this afternoon I picked the kids up from daycare, got them home, and came into the house to Grace crying "Bob is DEAD!" We're planning a fish funeral. She wants to bury him in a box in the back yard. Rest in Peace, Bob II, you were a good fish!
